"Prevention is the best medicine", as the old quote says. Well I am certainly a fan of that statement. Prevention vs. curative care is the ideal way to optimal health. How often have you thought throughout the day about aches and pains or just feeling drained? Most people I know attribute this to aging; well I would like to say that is not all true. Overwork and stress can cause turmoil in your body. Preventing your self from becoming worn out is a key component of good health. Knowing when to allow your body to relax and heal is pertinent to your self preservation.

Using natural methods to keep yourself healthy are great alternatives to living a life full or pain and emotional distress. Some suggested modalities are: Acupuncture/acupressure, massage, chiropractic care, meditation/breathing, exercise (qi gong, tai chi), a healthy diet and so many more non invasive methods.
Financially people see this as a waste of money or insurance does not cover these services; but I am here to inform you that there are many free or low income resources available, as well as what you can do from your own home. You tube is a great resource for how to videos for yoga, healthy cooking and meditation.
Being proactive in your health is the key to a healthy and happy life.
